Who is Mrs. Sunnymead?

Mrs. Sunnymead is my alter ego.

She entertains beautifully, keeps a lovely home, makes delicious meals for her family, raises her children with ease, and thoughtfully remembers every birthday with the perfect present.

Mrs. Sunnymead doesn't sweat, frazzle, or fret. She doesn't eat Cheerios for dinner on occasion, she doesn't dash out to the grocery store an hour before guests are coming and forego a shower for a little sprinkle of baby powder instead.

She doesn't drop her kids off late to school and then accidentally carry a Hello Kitty backpack and tiny rainbow umbrella to work. Let's face it, Mrs. Sunnymead doesn't work.

Mrs. Sunnymead's children don't whine or carry on at bedtime. Mrs. Sunnymead never nags her very nice husband.

Every now and then, I am Mrs. Sunnymead - a homemaker in the most wonderful sense of the word. Maybe it's because they don't occur regularly, but I couldn't be more proud of my "Mrs. Sunnymead" moments, when I make my family's life a little more special.
